MMO Titanium Anodes
Anodeum produces MMO (Mixed Metal Oxide) anodes through a thermal process that combines at least two metal oxides into a durable coating. These coatings have been reliably used across industries for many years due to their ability to endure harsh and often acidic environments. As anodes, MMO coatings are designed to resist oxidation.
We offer two types of MMO anodes, tailored to their specific applications:

Oxygen-Producing Anodes: Used mainly in electroplating, these anodes generate oxygen by splitting water during the electrochemical reaction. Anodeum manufactures these using a mixture of Iridium and Tantalum oxides.

Chlorine-Producing Anodes: Designed for use in chloride-rich electrolytes (like salt solutions), these anodes generate chlorine gas. They are made with a combination of Ruthenium and Titanium oxides and are commonly used in disinfection systems.
Within both categories, Anodeum fine-tunes the oxide composition for optimal performance in each use case.
Anodeum also has the capability to produce large-sized anodes, such as those used in steel strip plating. When an anode exceeds the size limits of standard production lines, components can be welded together to achieve the desired dimensions.
